Local SEO and Google profile for a chiropractic practice
The map pack decides who gets the call, and it comes down to proximity, category and review volume. Rating does not separate anyone here: the average listing sits at 4.8 stars and 92.1% are at 4.5 or better. Half of all practices have 15 reviews or fewer, so volume is the lever that actually moves you.
Category is the second lever and the most commonly wasted. Primary category Chiropractor, then add the secondaries you genuinely provide: massage therapist, physical therapy clinic, sports massage therapist, acupuncture clinic, wellness center. Each one opens a set of searches you currently do not appear in.
Then the fields nobody fills. A service entry with a written description for every condition and technique you offer, spinal decompression and dry needling included. Twenty real photos of the adjusting room, the team and the parking lot. Correct hours, which matter more than owners think: only 21.4% of practices list Saturday and 5.3% list Sunday, so an open weekend morning is a visible differentiator rather than a slogan.
Two weeks in, working looks like more calls and direction requests in the insights panel. Where you stand today is in the benchmark report.
